​In line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and requirements as per NAVP membership, Realign Veterinary Rehabilitation uses your personal information in the following ways: 

1. Process personal data fairly and lawfully. 

2. Personal data shall only be used to provide appropriate Veterinary Physiotherapy treatments. This includes relevant veterinary diagnosis and treatments. 

3. Personal data and documents recorded remain property of Realign Veterinary Rehabilitation and shall not be shared with any third parties, unless permission is given to do so. 

4. Personal data shall be kept for 7 years as part of NAVP requirements. 

5. Personal data and treatment information will be kept in paper form for 7 years after the last appointment. 

6. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the rights of data subjects under the Act. 

7. Appropriate technical and organisational measures shall be taken against unauthorised or unlawful processing of personal data against accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal data. 

8. Personal data shall not be transferred to a country or territory outside the European Economic Area unless that country or territory ensures an adequate level of protection for the rights and freedoms of data subjects in relation to the processing of personal data.
